This case is a summary of the history of Walt Disney Productions since its inception Walt Disney in 1920 and 1984. Faced with the loss of productivity in almost all parts of the company, top management must develop a long-term strategy to improve the performance of the company. The case addresses the issue of how the asset base built Walt Disney. The case also addresses two main issues: (1) leadership and (2) the quality of the "excellent" companies. The housing has enough material to start and the first days of Walt Disney Productions, which students can evaluate some of the qualities that have made Walt Disney a successful entrepreneur and creative leader.
