This case illustrates the creation and growth of Veja, the first eco-sneaker company in the world, in the broader context of the development of the fashion industry and the emergence of eco-fashion movement. As of September 2010, the five-year-old company has become a reference in ethical fashion and inspiration for other eco-fashion startups. His way, their achievements and their aspirations have made it an ideal target acquisition; minded companies such as Timberland, already feeling the two founders. S Sebastian Kopp and François-Ghislain Morillion still fulfills his dream. They are fun to try to work out a more sustainable business approaches. They are still in awe of the opportunity to develop solutions or workarounds for socially and environmentally problematic business practices. The case presented several solutions, with special attention to the development of sustainable business practices in organic cotton, wild natural rubber and traditional vegetarian leather tanning. The case is also the question of how to integrate sustainable practices in enterprise integrated and continuously improved offer, which is engaged in multi-party supply chain (employees, customers, suppliers, partners, and even the artists) to jointly develop a value proposition that appeals not only to our fashion sense but our conscience.
