To promote the healthy work-life balance, the first female CEO of Vancouver City Saving Credit Union (Vancity), serves as a role model for its employees by putting the required efforts on the job and simultaneously enjoying her social life with her family. She always considered the efficiency of an employee is mainly based on his work-life balance that often help to mitigate the effects of workload, thus, he wants to develop a positive workplace culture in the company.
The survey of the attitude towards work-life balance at Vancity by an independent consultant explored numbers of recommendations for the CEO to analyze. Most of the recommendations aimed to enhance the work-life balance for men so that it would improve the work-life balance of each individual in the company.
