Introduction
This is a documentary based on the life style of the students and the education systems in the three world super powers. The documentary’s name was conceived by the executive producer of the documentary Mr. Robert A. Compton. Compton has travelled the world extensively and in his tour to India in the year 2005 inspir ed him so much that he started a blog, published a book and created the documentary two million minutes.
The documentary is about the comparison of the education systems in the three super powers of the world united stated of America, India and China. The education system and the life style of the students of America, India and China have been closely followed in the documentary. The documentary is also focused about the issues that these systems have in them.
The name of the documentary is describing the time that a child has to decide about his future and the whole life of the student will be dependent up on this time and the performance the student will show in these two million minutes.
Executive summary
The documentary is about the life of the students of the class of eight standards and their future. The time they have after their eight standards and life they want to pursue in the future depends upon the time they spend in the next two million minutes.
The livesof students from United States of America, India and China are portrayed in this documentary. The time they spend on their studies, social life and other activities. The time that these students spend after their eight standards is the most critical time for their future. The importance of this time is somehow not so important in the United States of America but in India and China this time is considered the most important time of a student.
The documentary is surrounding around the six students form 3 countries and 1 global economy which will be taken over by one of the countries as they are moving faster than the other. All the six students who are a part of this documentary and around whom this documentary revolves are in a race with time however,the 2 students from the United States of America are having a different approach with their studies and their other activities.
The statistics are totally different among these countries as in America about 70% of the students are not worried about the academic standards while in China and in India the students are more worried about their academic standards and how they are going to purse for their future studies. The parents in India and China are more interested in the future of their children as they want them to score high and have a risk free career.
Analysis
The documentary is about the students who are in their high school life and are about pursuing their higher education just after some time. Their ambitions, their goal and their objectives in life are all dependent on the manner in which they spend their time. The two million minutes which they will spend in their life after their eight standards............................
