Triumph Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

The case is set immediately after the disastrous fire that destroyed the production facilities Triumph Motorcycles in England. Once out of business in 1980, the company was revived British businessman John Bloor, and at the time of the fire, was in its tenth year of operations resume. The decision facing Bloor and his team after the fire was to recover and resume its strategy as before, or if another course of action might be useful. Students are challenged to identify and formulate a strategy to triumph during her recovery and to assess whether other alternatives may be more appropriate.
