In the case of the three case series describes how Mark Pincus, with the help of his sister Laura Hartman, has launched its new brand of social strategy. The first steps included two partnerships: (1) YoVille Zynga and the San Francisco SPCA, and (2) Mafia Wars and Huntington's disease Society of America. The new program was created in Zynga: Zynga.org, which will focus on global issues and their solutions. Its first project in partnership with the wildly popular FarmVille by Zynga, a strategy in which users can purchase "Sweet Seeds for Haiti." Through FarmVille, Zynga will contribute 50% of all proceeds from the sale of these seeds to Haiti on two reasons: Fonkoze and FATEM (initiative microfinance and education and school feeding program, respectively).
