After graduating MBA in 2007, Toby Johnson, a former army pilot with the 18th Airborne Corps Rapid Deployment Force, joined the company's leadership development program PepsiCo (LDP). For his first assignment with PepsiCo, Johnson took over as production manager of Frito-Lay plant in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Williamsport plant had 200 employees and 54 million pounds per year. The case describes how Johnson led the factory, and its plan of action for the implementation of a new set of changes.
