Allan fire stone is the president of Heatway and the vice president is Bob Hemphill who is responsible for managing and developing new processes for marketing and distributing manufactured goodsof Headway organization. Firestone is currently developing a new process known as proposal to payment. PTP program is not only based on radical changes or sweeping new process however, it also involves restructuring the organization philosophy, IT architecture and department rules and regulations. Therefore, in 1995,Hemphill demanded $35 million from authorities for implementing the new process for proposal for payment. The main objective of Firestone was to successfully upgrade and implemented the PTP system in the organization.(Hanzhang ye, 1995)
Heat way did its trade in private and commercial marketplace in 27 countries worldwide and it has almost 20000 of employees, which are associated with Heat way and it includes only 40% of the employees who are US citizens. Moreover, Heatway’s clients are investors, administration specialists, business groups and middle class commercial corporations. The organization formed the current state team for PTP new design process who would be responsible for the interior bench marking, procedure of planning, credentials of present breaches and flaws. The future state-run team responsibilities include the exterior bench marking, development in the processes through IT (Information technology and to identify the new business methods. Heat way has its direct sales groups. The structure organized the size, location, and design of the corporation. Therefore, the management team divided the work into 2 teams (TEAM A and TEAM B). In team A, there were 8 members who were responsible for identifying the current state developments, identifying the interval and budget of doing the corporate and also indorse short-term improvement.
