To combat the escalating consequences of environmental problems, management of Asia’s environmental problem have made numerous integrative strategies that either has not yielded the desired outcomes or have not been implemented efficiently. The authors describe the four key factors of Asia’s natural resource that have declined significantly, after the inclination in Asia’s population and per capita income.
The four prominent problem that encountered by Asia are, air pollution, climate change, deforestation and land degradation, and water management. The authors provide a framework of seven policy objectives for Asia to incorporate in their environmental strategies at local and regional level to mitigate these harmful effects. By 2030 and beyond, these seven objectives would definitely have a significant impact on the Asia’s environmental problems.
