The Cellphone Industry from the Origins to Deregulation Industry Note Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

This case series is designed to illustrate the features of competition in the poor and developing economies and, more specifically, the competition on the basis of the pyramid. It consists of four documents: two cases of company, country note and industrial scrap. The company is described by the dynamics of competition between two international telecommunications company, Orange and MTN, the market Cameroon communications. Each company then begins with a brief history of the company, after the description of the global strategy of the company and its entry into Cameroon. He continues to describe the dynamics of competition in Cameroon, from the point of view of the company and, in particular, moves, and moves taken against each participant to gain market share. Finally, the case describes a company's corporate social responsibility initiative in the world and in Cameroon. Case series also includes two music background. The first note describes the evolution and main technical characteristics of the industry mobile phone.
