The importance of groups in the organization has long been recognized, but until recently the group has always been "stitched" organizations, which have been developed around the face. It was not just the logic of the classical theory of organizations that perpetuate this focus on the individual, the entire entrepreneurial traditions of American society and culture, supported it. Recently, the company started to break these traditional organizational and cultural barriers and to recognize the team as an official unit of the organizational structure. While autonomous (or semi-) working groups have worked in production environments for several decades, in recent years, companies such as General Electric, IBM and Frito-Lay tried to create an "authorized" working groups as the basic unit of organization for of their organizations. As companies try to officially recognize the team as a division of the organization, they also have to review the organizational processes and structures, which detract from the effective functioning of the group.
