TeaBox was a small, food-selling retail shop located in secondary schools in Hong Kong. It was considered a daring business as it was ran by a non-governmental organization using social workers to analyze social enterprise as a way of servicing the community.

After one year in company, poor management was identified by an assessment of the enterprise as the cause of financial losses and disorders in employee surveys. The superintendent of TeaBox began by investigating the financial statements and employee surveys in depth to discover a method to make TeaBox a viable enterprise and distinguish it from other, similar suppliers and was decided to save the venture. Based on this evaluation, he desired to develop a real plan to become successful.
