In May 2013, Jack Russo, a Chicago-based technology entrepreneur, had to select one of four product concepts that are possible to utilize as the starting point for his new K8 educational learning firm, TabletTeach LLC. At the time, the K 12 education market in the United States was experiencing major dislocation as a result of print-to-digital transformation, new CCSS, new standardized tests designed to the Common Core (rolling out in most states in the 2014-2015 school year), and increasing pressure from parents for institution to integrate technology within their children's learning.
Based on his firsthand experience and research, Russo understood there was a critical chance for a business that brought to promote a pill-empowered learning solution focusing on grades K-8, which made learning Common Core mathematics and/or language arts pleasure for every student and engagingly simple for all teachers. This case provides an intriguing example of something usually hard to teach: transforming from the front end of a market opportunity analysis to a particular product chance. The issue limit by summarizing four possible product concepts, which pupils will then evaluate and rate using their very own sets of standards.
