This event was designed to highlight the challenge faced by many small and medium enterprises (SMEs) around the world. Many small and medium-sized enterprises successfully overcome the initial problem of survival. They have a stable base of loyal customers who can command an attractive price, and have built a reputation of good quality. However, they can not go beyond a certain point. Why? What they need to do to overcome the growth of the challenge? Swagruha Foods is a good example of small and medium-sized businesses, which enjoyed great success, thanks to the dedication and commitment to family Chagarlamudi, and changes in the socio-economic situation in India. However, there are some signs that it is not able to fully exploit their growth opportunities. Case discussion will help students / participants to evaluate the key constraints to growth of small and medium businesses, and ways to overcome them. This case can be taught in business, of course, highlight the increasing challenges faced by entrepreneurs who have successfully overcome the threat of survival.
