To better understand the impact of venture capital on individual company management and financial structures, we examined the post-IPO experience of the 190 biotechnology companies and healthcare. In almost all cases, the involvement of venture capitalists to reduce the role of the founder of the entrepreneur in making strategic decisions. This was illustrated most of the outside directors, when venture capitalists invested and a smaller proportion of entrepreneurs who were officers or board position after the IPO.
