In recent years, large American law firms are undergoing significant changes. Most of them have moved from professional models (P2 form) to the corporate business model, using competitive strategies and profit orientation. As the market for corporate legal services to become more competitive, many large U.S. companies law began to diversify the services they offer, and to expand into new geographic regions of the country and in international markets. They even engage in acquisitions and learned how to manage and use their critical resources, human capital, and relational capital.
