Sri Lanka Transport (A): The Bus Industry Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

In 1996, Sri Lanka had a mixed public and private system bus, with about a third of passengers carried by public companies, and two-thirds of private. Private buses do not earn enough from passenger fees to replace their buses and as a result there were many complaints of overcrowding and security issues.
