By November 2005, the business had designed entire systems to their specifications, had many customers and, for some of them.
This case provides a context for identifying the sources of competitiveness of Sona Koyo through two significant notions. The versatile yet straightforward assets-procedures-functionality (PROGRAM) framework is used to identify important factors of competitiveness, while the notion of the "competitiveness journey" is introduced to examine distinct contexts, scenarios, strategies and initiatives along with business performance.
