Many Indian domestic portals became nervous when Google decided to enhance its flight search service by providing the clients to compare fares and book tickets. Google was already leading by shares in Internet search service, which created further fear of discrimination by this development. However, the domestic portals had the only option to lodge a complaint against Google with the Competition Commission of India, which might help them to overcome the risk of reducing shares.
