In January 2008, Schweiz aluminum department is preparing to introduce its new GH 1000 alloy. The department was the world leader in marketing high strength, relatively exotic alloys. Recently, one of their talented metallurgists have developed a new formulation for a 7000 series alloy high strength, hard alloys. The formulation was significantly lower in price than the previous use, but there was absolutely no effect on the characteristics and appearance. For all practical purposes, it was identical to the more expensive alloys, which have been replaced.
