Dr. Michael Lehmann was re-appointed Chairman of the Foreign Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology (Department) in the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry. He was brought in specifically to address the poor match of the department. Department members are divided into two camps - the clinical teaching and research - and a conflict exists between the members, resulting in the division of clinical anatomy is considering leaving the department. Another area of concern involved reduction of research on cell division biology, many research programs have stalled, resulting in the loss of external funding. With a change management perspective, Lehman would determine its key issues and develop an action plan for each issue. He was thinking of how to effect change in his new department. "Hide
