Talk MBA class has shown the dangers of training, in which "theories in use" is not in dispute and suggests strategies for a more reflective learning. Two groups of students presented their positions on a conceptual level without grounding their conceptual arguments in details of their personal, experiences that were the source of their personal theories in use. Consequently, most of them were not able to recognize that the case of the present situation is different from those they faced in the past, and that now affects their opinion. The minority can not show that their own theory was essentially correct, although their own theory, the formation of the experience was much better approximation of the situation in the case. The main problem seems to be is that both camps have deprived themselves and others from the inductive process of discovery, denying his audience to live (vicariously) experiences that have shaped their conceptual world view.
