Our Mission is to provide an opportunity of free advocacy services to the sexually abused victims along with their families and friends.The ultimate purpose of preventing this type of sexual crime is through awareness and education.

CHARTER:

The U.S. Congress passed two laws related to violence against women on the basis of sexual assault and sexual abuse, The Violence against Women Act and The Family Violence Prevention and Services Act.

According to the Violence against Woman Act, Government agencies and victim advocates work together to fight domestic violence, sexual assault, women abuse, and other types of violence against women. This law creates new punishments for sexual crimes and started a program to prevent such crimes and help victims in order to survive from these issues.

According to the Family Violence Prevention and Services Act,the main federal helps families by providing funds to the domestic victims and their dependents. The programs that are funded and support through FVPSA provides shelter, clothes, and related help to the victims.

OBJECTIVES OF THE ORGANIZATION:

Goal 1: Improving Organizational Health

Objective 1:The main objective is to provide relieve distressed women and teenage girls that experienced or experiencing sexual abuse, assault, sexual violence or domestic violence and child abuse.Itsupports all victims or survivors to access appropriate services.

Objective 2: To create respectable society changing norms and values to protect youth and adult to prevent sexual violence.

Goal 2: Best Practices and Free Services

Objective 1:Best practices to prevent sexual assault such as protection order to increase the number of arrest and prosecution against violence, counselling programs for perpetrators and self-help groups for survivors.

Objective 2: To provide high quality training and development, support, services, supervision, and continuous professional development to all staff, volunteers and trainers that will further proceed the purpose of the organization to achieve its aim and objective.

Goal 3: Effective Outreach and Education:

Objective 1: To provide education and raising awareness about women against violence.

Objective 2:Outreach efforts and services to provide effective advocacy programs for the survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence.

ANALYSIS:

Sexual violence, whether assault or abuse is a serious public health and human rights problems with both short term and long term consequences on women’s physical, sexual, mental and reproductive health. Sexual assault on men or women is deeply violating and painful experience for victims and survivors.According to the U.S. Department of justice, an American is sexually assaulted every 2 minutes and totaling an average of 238,000 individuals over 12 years of age each year.

DELIVERABLES:

Providing free, confidential and advocacy services to the women and teenagers regardless of race, ethnicity, sexuality and other discriminatory services.
Providing 24/7 telephone services for family or supporters of thevictims and survivors.

Recruiting, training, advocating and supporting staff, volunteers and other agencies.

CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTORS:

Raising awareness plays a vital role in preventing sexual violence. Some of the tactics that are required to implement in order to gain success, such as by providing awareness with radio, newspapers, posters, cinema advertising and grassroots outreach campaign. Apart from that advocacy, counselling programs and self-help group for victims and survivors. Many people commit suicide due to such issues, so these programs help people to understand the purpose of life.

PROJECT SUCCESS CRITERIA:

One of the current gaps that is preventing to achieve a goal and aims is the lack of advocacy centers as a culture locus place for survivors to find advocacy and healing programs that help the victims to share their experiences of being survivors of sexual violence or domestic abuse. However,there is a lack of counselling services to the victims that helps to prevent sexual violence and fight for it.

The critical gap remains, and the current list of effective programs does not addresses the needs of all populations and communities because the rate of sexual assault is increasing day by day. The government need to draw a strategy in which those activities that work and those that might work should be separated, in order to see which activity is acceptable to prevent the sexual assault. The project success lies within to provide such services to the victims.
