Ponce de leon (pol) is a four-party negotiation activity in which a film studio is attempting to sign a leading celebrity to star in an upcoming picture.
The negotiation centers across the various intrinsic and extrinsic motivations underlying each of these party's strategy to the film, and therefore to the discussion. The exercise enables investigation of the dangers of "monetizing" different forms of extrinsic (e.g. Pay, prizes, status) and inherent (e.g. Love of the work, values) motivation.
