In November 2008, Pacific Century CyberWorks ("PCCW"), telecommunications giant in Hong Kong, were the subject of the privatization proposal. The proposed buyout of minority interests were invited to a significant shareholder in PCCW. Despite accusations of election fraud faced together vendors, privatization gained the approval of shareholders in February 2009. This is the case of finance and corporate restructuring, which uses flow discount model to determine the fair value of PCCW.
