Environmental sustainability of the business depends on the staff of creative environmental ideas and innovative solutions to environmental problems. The article examines how companies that want to improve their environmental performance can increase their willingness of staff to eco-innovation. The results show that employee behavior on supporting line managers to significantly increase the likelihood that employees will try to environmental initiatives. Even in companies with sustainable development policies, middle managers less support in the management of environmental issues compared to other issues of business management. Speaking of environmental policies may not have much direct impact on the willingness of employees to eco-innovation. Shows how firms can help line managers to adopt behaviors that employees perceive as supporting environmental measures, and it shows what behaviors and policies are most effective in supporting environmental innovation.
