Cargill, Inc, privately owned U.S. agribusiness company, was one of the largest sellers of palm oil in the world. Beginning in 2007, the company has focused on network Rainforest Action (RAS), nongovernmental organizations (NGOs), which played in the environment. RAS target Cargill, because the production of palm oil in countries such as Indonesia and Malaysia have destroyed rainforests.
