This note provides an overview of the IT industry in India services, using Porter's "Diamond of national dignity" framework. In particular, it assesses how India uses the factor conditions, demand conditions, related and supporting industries, and the context for firm strategy, structure and rivalry to achieve a competitive position in the IT services.
