New Sustainability Study The 'Embracers' Seize Advantage Case Study Solution

Just over one-quarter (26%) plan no change, and just 2% think to cut back on their devotion. Embracers are significantly more confident about their competitive position than nonembracers are. Seventy percent of embracers said they consider their organizations outperform industry peers. By contrast, just 53% of careful adopters described themselves as outperformers, and 14% confessed to lagging behind peers -more than twice the percentage of embracers who made the same claim (6%). Additionally, almost three times as many embracers (two-thirds of them) as cautious adopters said that their organization's sustainability actions and conclusions have raised their profits.

"So the embracers have given us a type of crystal ball. Their insights and behaviours imply a pattern for how management practice and competitive strategy will evolve." The report identifies seven particular practices exhibited by embracer companies, which collectively start to identify sustainability-driven management.
