This article examines the organizational learning to develop new products based on the study of thirteen teams innovation from Apple, IBM and Hewlett-Packard. There are three types of organizational learning: in team training, cross-team training and market education. The new team of the product do not need to do well on all three. In fact, under different circumstances, some types of learning can actually be harmful to the outcome of the project.
