This case B cannot be taught as a stand alone case, but is an immediate continuation of the FocusCase "BrapoTech(A): Building to Scale" [EFC-4-E]. This second part illustrates the tactical decisions the business chose with regard to the challenges outlined in Case A, which were mainly around changing from developing more options that are customized to a stand alone product business and reducing their scope to only one from different sectors.

In this instance, the TelCo-business for which a product suite was developed by the firm in the mobile space. This Case B describes internationalization and the companies development over several years until a very successful exit is achieved by the business to Microsoft, which was the first acquisition Microsoft did in Portugal.
