Miles Everson, partner, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), is the world's partner in the project (GEP) for large U.S. financial institutions, and about to take on this role is much larger global financial institutions. GEO is a critical role in PwC. GEPS are responsible for the largest and most important clients of the firm. They need to manage the huge external network client employees and so is the internal network employees. GEP should have a deep understanding of the client and its industry in order to identify opportunities and problems, where resources of the firm may be involved, and in accordance with the capabilities of the company to the customer's needs. GEPS should be able to simultaneously manage multiple tasks, often under great time pressure. This case is described as a very effective GEO-Miles Everson, who was named one of the top 25 consultants for 2006 magazine Consulting, fulfills this role and provides an attitude, skills and expertise matter necessary to be successful in this role. Understanding how Everson makes this work is carried out, as PwC and client personnel. As is often the case, Everson is responsible for business (in his case, Governance, Risk and Compliance), and so it has a significant internal control functions, as well. The case raises questions about whether he will be able to keep these internal control function, when he takes on a much larger and more complex global customers and became a senior partner in the project (SEP) to his current client. (NSP oversight function for work done in GEP and his team and, as a rule, very senior members of the firm). The case also raises the areas where you can improve Everson. "Hide
