Medical Marijuana Industry Group (MMIG), founded in 2010, has been enjoying an eminent position in the market from its existence by facilitating its clients through quality services and has always been fighting to preserve the reputation of the company.
This case is written from the perspective of the executive director of the company, Michael Elliott, which shows that the limitations that the City Council of Denver, Colorado, is considering imposing on outdoor advertising of MMIG and the circumstances that caused them to do so in 2012. Furthermore, it has also created a threat for the company for his promotion.
MMIG has been serving as a delegated resource for policy makers, providing promotion and protection to the regulations of over fifty businesses of Colorado associated with MMIG. The situation now either demands MMIG and executive director to carry the Council’s proposed decision that limits MMIG to advertise within 1,000 feet of schools, parks and daycares in the region or to oppose the proposal imposed by Council. The third option that MMIG has is to generate a new alternative to retain the activity with some relative strategies for outdoor promotion in Denver.
