In this case, Maverick housing, hotel management company, estimates the initial efficiency of its recently implemented a balanced scorecard. The case gives students exposure (1) to determine the appropriate control, monitoring and measurement of performance management system only its strategy and structure were established, (2) evaluation of the development and implementation of a comprehensive Balanced Scorecard, (3) an analysis of the usefulness of flexible budget as part of a balanced scorecard and (4) evaluate the effectiveness of operational managers.
