Leadership
I have three major strengths which are as follows:
- Leadership
- Management
- Motivation
Leadership is all about leading from the front, in my academic and professional life I have seen several leaders and I have learned several leadership skills to become a good leader. I think leadership is a process to enhance the performance of a team in a dignified way to increase the performance of an organization. If I will find the leadership opportunity at any organization, I will utilize my leadership qualities for the sake of an organization’s interest. I have the skills to become an efficient leader and serve the organization up to my high standards. Sometimes the situation demands a lot from the leader, he may face tough challenges in order to solve the problems, and I am competent to cope with these types of situations as I already did in my professional life.
Management
Management is an essential part of any organization; every organization needs the services of efficient managers to run the organization. I have managerial skills as well and can contribute to an organization’s success. In order to become a successful manager, one should lead by an example. In order to manage a team, the manager has to take the responsibility. I thought higher the communication among the team members, more productivity of the organization it becomes. As a manager, I can not only manage the things, but also bring changes in the organization.
Motivation
I believe motivation is one of my biggest strengths. It is one of the most important factors in order to achieve long term goals and objectives. I think if leaders and managers are not able to motivate the employees in an organization, it will affect the performance negatively. I can motivate my subordinates for the organization’s best interest to enhance the performance of the organization. I thought to become a successful manager or leader; one should motivate the team members to raise the performance level of each employee.

In 1996, I took the admission in one of top ranked universities in the Business Administration department. After three years of study, I joined “Apple Manufacturing Company” that had several branch offices around the globe. At Apple, I successfully lead from the front and motivated the employees. During the decade, I successfully achieved sales targets up to the highest standards in Apple Manufacturing. I have motivated around 3,000 salesmen at Apple which totally increased the performance level within the organization. I have applied my leadership and managerial skills in Apple Manufacturing efficiently. One thing that I also used during that process was, I taught them management courses which I learned from my academic years, which totally changed the mindset of the sales person and helped a lot to achieve their tasks.
Q.3. Talk about two or three areas you need to develop to become a more effective manager and leader.

However, I have several managerial and leadership skills but I need to work hard on the following areas to become an effective leader or manager.
- Ability to delegate
- · Ability to Inspire
- Creativity
Ability to Delegate
I need to work on this area to achieve my long term goals and objectives. This is one of the vital factors to become an effective leader or manager. If I will find an opportunity as a leader or manager in a global environment, I need to develop the skills to communicate the vision of an organization among the employees. Identification of skills and capabilities among the team members, is one of the key components to become a good leader, I need to develop these skills to enhance the performance of the team.
Ability to Inspire
I also need to concentrate on this area to become an efficient manager. Though I have achieved a significant amount of success in this area during my professional life, but I still believe that I need to concentrate on this bit more. I believe if the leader or manager is able to inspire the team from his efforts and achievements; it will bring positive change in the entire organization.
