Zhang Lin has just received permission to form a new group of quality control at Longxi, located in Xiamen, China. This new group should study and the high levels of defect important part used in the final production of a multi-cylinder diesel engines. Lin must decide who will be directly involved in the team, what data should be collected and analyzed, that is causing the problem and what action should be taken. The project is set to improve in the context of broader quality Longxi and systems, thus encouraging students to evaluate and promote the corporate quality systems.
