The chief operation officer (COO) of the Long Wang Sha Tan Ku Company, a boardshorts producer based in Shanghai, China, was anticipated to present a strategy to enhance the company's profitability through adjustments to the business's operations.
There were at least three routes that are possible to raise profitability. First, reviewing production was scheduled between the firm's two manufacturing facilities. Since the business ran at capacity during busy times, he thought that it might be beneficial for the firm to expand capacity in one of its manufacturing facilities. Finally, the COO wondered whether some cost adjustments could help out of the supply chain and increase contribution of the company's.
