The hospital has faced numerous issues due to the lack of financial resources. The issues which are faced by the hospital include waiting time, treatment of patients, delay in discharging, health checkups and physical disturbance due to not getting treatment in the hospital. However, the organization developed improvement plans and due to that they improved the level of services in the Hospital. The National Health Service (NHS) took the decision in June 2000 to reduce the waiting time period as much as possible as the public was more concerned for these issues as they would have to wait up to 18 hours to get treated which was too long. Moreover, they decided that those patients who were previously waiting up to 18 hours were likely to stay no longer than 9 hours and those who stayed up to 12 hours would get treated in 7 hours from the A&E department.
In 2004, on the basis of these mediums (for example, financial performance, hygiene, and team ethics and patients fulfillment's) the organization received rating and appreciations from other organizations. Michelin restaurant rated three stars, and these rewards show that this improved their standard as well as the performance of the organization.
