Organizational culture can be a powerful force, which explains that it is important, and coordinates the work of employees without the cost and inefficiency of scrutiny. Culture also determines the distinctive competence of the organization to external constituencies. To use culture as an effective management tool, managers must recruit and select employees that fit the company culture, communication and education for the shared values of the company and rewarding employees whose efforts reflect and reinforce the culture of the firm.
