The case traces the conflict occurred on the employment terms of contract workers between the trade union and the management of Dr. Reddy’s. Over a period of 100 days as events open, it founded that this conflict caused by a few fundamental issues, like, recruiting unskilled contract workers while it required technically sound workers to meet the global quality standards, encountering the issue of operating from a developing country that also demands to incorporate local and traditional value systems and simultaneously needs to increase the number of customers in the developing world. The major issues for the organization was the intense competition and the need to accommodate the requirements of its less skilled and untrained contract workers. Had the wage been a only matter of this conflict, the agreement would be quite easy.
