Kenny Rogers Roasters in China (), documents the efforts of the American fast food chain in order to penetrate the Chinese market in the mid-1990s. Cases focus on Tony Wang, President of Franchise Investment Corporation of Asia (FICA), as it assesses the market potential for KRR in China and select a joint venture partner for the first restaurant. In an accompanying KRR in China (B) case focuses on the choice of issues that are at the center of Tony Van ambitions for the restaurant chain in China.
