This research reports business news from January 1, 2000 and June 30, 2005 revealed that as of 1999, 40 corporations of the Fortune 100 behaved in a way that may be considered unethical. Behavior included three types of fraud (accounting, securities, and consumer), discriminatory practices, undisclosed fee executive, antitrust actions, infringement of patent rights, as well as other violations of the law. Based on the inadmissibility of atrocities, this article has 40 companies in three categories. Also used for the study of business ethics and conduct of managers, boards of directors, and even government officials suggest why such unethical behavior was allowed to happen.
