The case on JOSEPHS® intends to emphasize on the different network effects in businesses and the architecture of a Service Manufactory. Uniquely placed as an open innovation lab in the Nuremberg city center, JOSEPHS® brought a broad variety of walk in customers, who could be "prosumers", adding significant value to the renter/businesses, the university associate (FAU Wi1), Fraunhofer IIS, along with the consumers themselves, participate in the open innovation procedure.
