Focusing on one entrepreneur, Jerry Rao, the case is considered by the international career of Indian business professionals and engineers with the development of public policy, since 1960, to bring them in developed countries like the United States. Explores why these professionals often choose to leave India in search of economic opportunities abroad in 1960-1980's, and why many seem to have now returned home to start or run a business. In addition, we consider the role of the Indian diaspora professionals to promote export-oriented Indian IT sector.
