Jack Valenti, long time chairman and CEO of the association Picture Motion, was known for his formation of the American film and television industry worldwide. Born and raised in Texas, Valenti served in Army Air Corps during World War II, and later as a special assistant to President Lyndon Johnson in the White House. In class discussion, Valenti shares what he has learned from his experience in a powerful position. He talks about the importance of helping people out, never get personal and never forgetting the obligation. Valenti says, is polite and respectful to all, and is transparent, with no hidden agendas. At the same time, he stressed the need to set boundaries and to require them to be respectful.
