In late 2005, Atlanta, Oxford Industries was closing the third major acquisition in many years. Two and a half years ago, Oxford acquired the brand Tommy Bahama in Seattle, and a year later, he bought a London Ben Sherman. As CIO, Oxford, John Baumgartner failed in the past three years to provide support systems to create the appearance of a day-to-day financial activities of legacy and newly acquired operating companies, and at the same time to minimize any negative impact on the profitability of the newly businesses acquired through business process and system changes.
