The Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan has the two options of investment in the oil and gas industry, the senior vice-president of the institute examines the pros and cons of each option brought forward by his team. He has to ensure the success of his selected alternative in terms of making responsible investing. Although, both of the options have the potential outcomes, but the rising criticism on oil sands extraction, pipeline safety and environmental protection put a question mark on this option.
