Intel’s Site Selection Decision In Latin America Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

Intel's Site Selection Decision In Latin America Case Solution

This is a Thunderbird Case Study, which focuses on Intel as it has decided to find its next assembly and testing plant in Latin America. Four states have made the short list: Costa Rica, and Brazil, Chile, Mexico. International Site Selection Analyst for Intel, the Telford, should advocate a site that is final. There are two majorproblems that must be solved first: 1) what type of business environment is most appropriate to Intel's demands; and 2) how can Intel leverage its bargaining edges most efficiently. The case exemplifies the edges for a high technology firm like Intel, with its powerful demand to put money into a completely consolidated democracy, and to run in a state with constant, predictable rules of business.

This is just an excerpt. This case is about  GLOBAL BUSINESS
