IDS Group was the supplier of supply chain solutions. Established in Asia and founded by William Fung global trading company Li & Fung Group, IDS developed the concept of the supply chain as "Logistics Value Chain". Logistics Value Chain took a holistic view of the entire value chain for the positioning of logistics as a major contributing drive maximum efficiency and effectiveness in all stages from production to distribution to end users. Given the geo-social diversity of the various Asian markets, companies often face the problem of distribution, as it tried to bring high quality products to the consumer at a reasonable price. As a pioneer of the new concept of the supply chain, IDS has helped its clients to achieve overall cost reduction of the supply chain while meeting the dynamic needs of customers.
