Immigrant Entrepreneurship: Bringing Yanjing Beer to Canada Harvard Case Solution & Analysis

Hi-Bridge Consulting Corporation had been importing and distributing alcoholic products in Canada along with other activities. The corporation was formed by an immigrant entrepreneur, who in 2009 introduced Yanjing Beer to Canada from China, despite the fact that in Canada at the time the Chinese brewery had not marked any significant improvement. However, the entrepreneur did not stop to move forward in the presence of various challenges and barriers in the Canadian beer market.

She evaluated her growth rate and revenue progress after the six years of the product’s introduction, which concluded that, although the market had the potential for her beer, but she only needed to figure out an effective strategy to increase the product awareness in order to increase its consumers. The authors, William Wei and Kimberley Howard, has the association with Grant MacEwan College.
